Mountain Biking on Azuga Valley, Brasov Medieval Town(bonus “Solomon’s Stones”)

Route: Bucharest – Prahova Valley – Azuga– Mountain Biking 35 Km –Brasov Medieval Town- Bucharest

Allocated time : 1 day

Distance: 350 kilometers with car and 35 km mountain biking

Availability: recommended June –October

Day 1.We will start early in the morning from your Bucuresti hotel (or airport). We’ll drive  on Prahova Valley  with its famous mountain resorts, until Azuga (930 meters). From here we’ll drive our bikes on wild spectacular trail roads , through beautiful  landscapes and forests. The trail is medium difficulty one, and will reach 1300 meters.

 

 

The trail  road will continue with a descent to Sacele village and  Brasov medieval City (625 meters).

 

 

 

Here we will present you  Black Church  and the old Town .After a traditional Romanian lunch we will run our bikes 10 km on asphalted  road until Poiana Brasov resort (1030 meters) .

 

From here we’ll descent on medium- difficulty (but spectacular) trail roads, passing near Solomon Stones, on our way to Brasov.

We’ll return to Azuga with the train and from here with the car to Bucuresti.

The prices are for one person and are negotiable. Because is a private tour it can be redesigned in accordance with your request.

Note that  Mondays, Tuesdays and on public holidays some of the objectives can be closed, for this reason we must talk and schedule the trip to avoid that.
